On February 6, a new episode of the YouTube channel Jipman Yeolmyeon was released under the title “I Didn’t Know We’d Reveal This Much (feat. Lie Detector) | EP.03 i-dle Mi-yeon, Minnie | Truman Show.” The episode featured Minnie and fellow member Cho Mi-yeon as guests, where they openly discussed various topics while undergoing a lie detector test.
During the show, MC Lee Yong-jin praised Minnie for her strong opening vocals in hit songs like Tomboy and Queencard. He asked whether songs perform better when Minnie handles the intro. Minnie responded, “Not always, but songs do well when I sing the intro.” When pressed to answer with only “yes” or “no,” she eventually said “yes,” which the lie detector confirmed as truthful, drawing laughter.

Minnie joked further, saying, “Since Queencard, I haven’t actually done many intros. Maybe that’s why no song has surpassed Queencard yet.” The conversation later turned to long-standing speculation about Minnie being a member of a wealthy Thai family. Lee Yong-jin referenced reports claiming she owns three houses in Thailand, along with a private gym, park, and personal fortune teller.
Minnie clarified that some reports were exaggerated but confirmed several details. “It’s true that we have three houses. But it’s more like a garden, not a park. And it’s not a full gym it’s just a fitness room. As for the fortune teller, it’s not personal; they read fortunes for my family,” she explained, sparking laughter on set.

She also confirmed additional rumors, including her family living in a mansion-like home, her mother operating a resort, and her uncle being a well-known pianist in Thailand. Minnie responded casually, saying, “That’s all true. How did you know all that?” Lee Yong-jin then jokingly asked if her idol career was simply a hobby. Minnie firmly answered, “No,” and the lie detector again verified her response as truthful, reinforcing her sincerity about her career.
