Behind Divorce Attorney Shin’s female lead – Han Hye Jin: More than 20 years in the industry but does not age a day!
The 40-year-old beauty just returns to a drama with an impressive rating.
“Divorce Attorney Shin” is a JTBC’s weekend drama that recently aired. The drama recorded an astounding rating of 7.3% in the first two episodes, becoming one of JTBC’s dramas with the highest ratings for opening episodes. The drama series surpassed the impenetrable 3-year record of “The World of the Married.”
Han Hye Jin appears in the first few episodes as Lee Seo Jin, a former weathercaster working as a radio DJ. Her divorce case is being processed by Shin Sung Han (Cho Seung Woo.) At the time of meeting, Seo Jin is married to a violent husband and suffers an unhappy marriage, all of which leads to her extramarital relationship. However, things crumble when her lover leaks a recording of their intimacy on social media. However, Seo Jin only seeks Sung Han for one reason, her son’s custody. The lawyer turns down at first because he does not want to get involved with children-related cases. Nonetheless, he gives in after seeing how much Seo Jin loves her child. According to the preview, it seems Seo Jin will join Sung Han’s team and become a crucial piece of his band.
Playing Lee Seo Jin is Han Hye Jin, an actress born in 1981 with more than 20 years in the field. She went into acting in 2002 and was known for her role in “Jumong.” Despite ame and popularity of the historical drama, Hye Jin did not make use of it and could not break away from its shadow afterwards. Her drama works after “Jumong” could not garner much attention to the actress. In the course of 20 years, Hye Jin’s career stayed relatively low.
Unable to flog a dead horse, Hye Jin turned to hosting for TV shows. Only at 40 does Hye Jin greet the audience, once again, as an actress. Hopefully, the drama can shoot the actress to stardom just as “Jumong” once did for her.
