Bang Ye-dam reveals “diss song” for Lee Chan-hyuk “Be good to your sister”

Singer Bang Ye-dam brought laughter with a song dedicated to Lee Chan-hyuk

On the Nov 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons – AKMU’s Five Nights”, Bang Ye-dam, who transformed into a solo artist, appeared and revealed his long-standing connection with AKMU.

Bang Ye-dam shared a self-composed song titled “Lee Chan-hyuk”, saying, “I somehow thought that hyung (Lee Chan-hyuk) might not have received this kind of present, so I wrote a self-composed song about him.” When Bang Ye-dam mentioned “It’s a song dedicated to hyung. I put in what I wanted to say“, Lee Chan-hyuk expressed his joy, “I’m really looking forward to having a song about me.”

Bang Ye-dam began the song with piano accompaniment, singing lyrics that caught the ears, such as “Before I knew it, Lee Chan-hyuk became cool. At first, he just looked strange. Ten years passed, and he became an adult. Memories pass by like a panorama. Actually, I knew it from the beginning. What you were trying to do and what you wanted“.

He mentioned Lee Chan-hyuk’s actions, “Even when you had your head shaved and sang while turned around. Even when you sat in front of the crosswalk and read the newspaper alone. Even when you just stood without saying a word while doing an interview. You looked so cool to me, I was inspired.”

Bang Ye-dam sighed after saying, “Now I’ll say what I really want to tell you.” He then sang, “So be good to your sister, be good to your sister Su-hyun. There’s no sister like her. I don’t want to hear about any discord rumors. Be good to your sister, she does all the singing. So don’t complain, and don’t be cranky. What you want to do, do a little bit of it. I know there’s so many things you want to do. It looks like your sister is having a hard time. Just do one thing. And don’t be good, then bad to her. Be good to your sister.

Lee Su-hyun, whose expression changed with the unexpected lyrics, was very pleased. She clapped her hands and responded, “It’s so touching. Why do you write songs so well? It moves people like this.”

Lee Chan-hyuk commented, “I must have expected too much. I was preparing to be really moved. Everyone except me laughed, so it’s okay.”
