BABYMONSTER Initiates Pre-Opening of Weverse Fan Community: Aiming for Close Interaction
YG Entertainment's rookie girl group, BABYMONSTER, has officially opened its fan community
According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER’s fan community was pre-opened on the global fandom platform Weverse today (22nd), with the official opening scheduled for April.
Explaining the background, YG stated, “The members expressed a strong desire to interact closely with fans, so we expedited the preparation of this space. After the release of their mini-album in April, we will expand interaction with fans through various channels, not limited to Weverse.”
BABYMONSTER, which garnered attention as YG’s rookie girl group after 7 years since BLACKPINK, demonstrated their strength by entering the US Billboard charts just 8 days after their debut with the song “Batter Up.” In January of this year, they released a new song titled “Stuck In The Middle.”
Their upcoming first mini-album, set to be released in April, will feature all seven members with Ahyeon currently on hiatus due to health issues. BABYMONSTER plans to carry out tight-knit activities as a complete 7-member group.
