B1A4’s Sandeul’s manager installed hidden cam in actress Kim Hwan-hee’s waiting room “Immediate dismissal”
An illegal filming camera was found in the waiting room of the musical "Next to Normal", and the suspect involved in the incident was identified as the manager of B1A4's Sandeul
On April 17th, Sandeul’s agency WM Entertainment apologized, “First of all, we deeply apologize to the actress and her agency who may have been hurt by this incident.”
The agency continued, “We keenly feel the seriousness of this matter and will do our best to ensure the actress’ stability. We also apologize to all the actors and staff members who are working hard for the musical, as well as fans.”
The agency explained, “Upon becoming aware of the situation, we immediately excluded the manager from accompanying the artist’s activities and took dismissal measures. We have completed an investigation of the performance venue, staff dormitory and office building where that employee had access, and have determined that there is no additional damage. However, we will cooperate with the police investigation to the fullest extent possible and monitor related details.”
They concluded by stating, “In the future, we will make even greater efforts to provide thorough staff training and ensure the safety and protection of both artists and staff members.”
Previously, musical actress Kim Hwan-hee reported an illegal filming camera found in the sofa of the dressing room of the musical “Next to Normal”. It is known that the police are currently investigating the individuals involved.
Meanwhile, “Next to Normal” features Kim Hwan-hee, as well as Choi Jung-won, Lee Gun-myung, Michael Lee, Sandeul and Yoo Hwe-seung.
