B-Free, who dissed Yoo Jae-suk and BTS, had his bank account seized for not paying a fine of 50,000 won

Rapper B-Free expressed his anger towards the prosecution

On October 5th, B-Free (real name Choi Seong-ho) posted on his SNS “Isn’t it too much to seize my bank account without explaining the reason and answering the phone?” and tagged the official account of the Prosecutors’ Office.

B-Free received a text message stating, “At the request of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors’ Office, your bank deposits have been seized, and transactions have been restricted.”

When one netizen commented “It seems like it was seized because you didn’t pay the fine”, B-Free responded, “Is it normal for the country to seize my bank account just because I didn’t pay the fine for a few months? They restrict people’s lives like this at the drop of a hat.

Netizens left comments such as, “I don’t think it’s normal to not pay a fine for several months“, “If you don’t pay, they have to seize it. They can’t keep being easy on you“…

B-Free then shared a text message that read “Please pay 50,000 won to the Prosecutors’ Office” and sarcastically wrote, “You seized my bank account because of 50,000 won. I committed a deadly crime. Next time, bring handcuffs and clubs with you. You worked hard today.”

B-Free debuted with the EP album “Freedom Music” in 2009 and won the Best Rap & Hip-Hop Song award at the 12th Korean Music Awards. He also appeared on Mnet’s “Show Me The Money 4” in 2015.

In the past, he faced controversy for songs with lyrics targeting figures like Yoo Jae-suk, Kang Ho-dong and BTS. 6 years later, he posted an apology letter to BTS.
