World-renowned pop star Ariana Grande has raised fans’ concerns with her thin appearance. However, she confidently stated that she is “healthy.”
On April 11th (local time), in a TikTok video of about three minutes, Grande urged her followers to be more careful before sharing their opinions on other people’s appearances.
She explained, “The body that you are comparing to mine right now is probably the unhealthiest version of my body. I was taking a lot of antidepressants, drinking alcohol, and not eating properly.”
She added, “The appearance that others think is healthy is actually the lowest point in my life, but it wasn’t my health.”
After a picture of Grande’s appearance at Jeff Goldblum’s London concert last week was released, fans began to comment on her appearance.
One Twitter user showed a response saying, “Grande seems to be worryingly thin,” and another Twitter user said, “It’s a controversial opinion, but I’m worried because she looks too thin.”
Currently filming a movie adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘Wicked,’ Grande emphasized that “being healthy can look different for everyone” and that “you can never know what someone is going through.”
She said, “You are beautiful no matter what you are going through. Your weight, makeup, whether or not you have received plastic surgery, or anything else doesn’t matter.”
Grande previously revealed that she had been struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder, since the Manchester concert bombing in 2017, which killed 22 people.
