On the very day of their comeback, famous girl group IVE have to announce disappointing news.
On August 22nd, Starship Entertainment, the agency of Kpop girl group IVE, issued a statement through the group’s official fan cafe.
In particular, Starship wrote: “As part of the promotion of IVE’s (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo)’s 3rd single “After Like”, we planned to hold the Yeouido Mulbin Guerrilla Concert to make special memories with fans. However, the event was inevitably canceled.”
“Recently, the water level of the Han River has risen due to record heavy rains. The Paldang Dam’s hourly discharge volume is high again today, so the connection between the ground and the Mulbit stage is still not established,” the company explained.
Therefore, it was difficult to proceed with the performance over safety concerns, and IVE’s Guerrilla concert was inevitably canceled.
On the other hand, IVE’s 3rd single album “After Like” will be released at 6PM (KST) on August 22nd, which is today. Immediately after the release, the group will have a comeback show and communicate with fans through Naver NOW’s “#OUTNOW” at 7PM (KST).
