She was born in 1999 and her real name is Hyun Seung-min. She recently gained attention for starring in the 2020 drama “The Cursed” and the 2021 movie “The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey”.
Jung Ji-so also became a hot topic of discussion among netizens because of her fascinating past. She was active as a figure skater from the 2nd grade of elementary school to the 1st grade of middle school. The reason why Jung Ji-so switched to full-time acting is interesting. She talked about this in an interview.
“I used to be a figure skater, but I wanted to act separately. Yuna Kim acted in dramas although she is also a skater, and I used that as an excuse to force my father to send me to acting school.”
She continued, “Thanks to that, I learned skating and acting together, but after that, I didn’t have enough time to exercise while filming the drama ‘May Queen’, so I naturally switched to acting.” Jung Ji-so also played a figure skater in her 2012 debut drama ‘May Queen’.
In addition, when asked about the reason for appearing in the works of Bong Joon-ho and director Yeon Sang-ho, respectively, she said, “I still lack a lot of acting skills and don’t have much experience.” she said with a humble attitude.
Meanwhile, the identity of ‘Emma Stone’, who was hidden in the veil, was revealed and shocked the public. Jung Ji-so’s singing ability, which was revealed at the end of her first meeting with WSG Wannabe, on the MBC variety show ‘What do you do when you play?’ is becoming a hot topic again.
