Agency Denies Rumors Of LE SSERAFIM Kim Chae-won’s Involvement In Lee Sun-kyun & G-Dragon’s Drug Cases

Source Music immediately refuted rumors of Kim Chae-won’s relation to G-Dragon’s drug allegation

On October 26th, LE SSERAFIM’s agency Source Music released an official statement through Newsen, saying “Rumors surrounding Kim Chae-won are not true at all. Kim Chae-won is recovering from the aftereffects of the flu and will resume activities on November 1st”.

Earlier on the same day, Source Music also announced Kim Chae-won’s return to LE SSERAFIM activities starting from November 1st, saying “Kim Chae-won has been taking a break due to Type A flu and is recovering her condition. After consultations with medical staff, we confirm that she can participate in schedules from next week”.

Earlier on the 23rd, it was reported that actor Lee Sun-kyun was under investigation on suspicions of taking drugs and being a member of an entertainment establishment. On the 25th, G-Dragon was also booked without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. 

Amid the two’s drug controversies, rumors spread online saying LE SSERAFIM and actress B, who is a former IZ*ONE member, were involved in a drug gate.

On the 26th, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency reported that they are currently investigating 10 people, including celebrities, on drug charges. Regarding the rumors of a drug investigation on a former IZ*ONE member and actress, the police said, “It’s not true at all”.
