On MBC’s “King of Masked Singer,” which aired on July 31st, the first match of the second round’s semifinals was held.
This was a competition between Muffin and Big-headed Mugwort. Muffin, who was the first to step on the stage, sang Baek Ji-young’s “Sad Salsa” and showed off her mournful voice.
Big-headed Mugwort then appeared and grab the audience’s attention by singing Lee Eun-mi’s “Breaking Up.”
The honor of winning went to Big-headed Mugwort. As a result, Big-headed Mugwort has the chance to advance to the third round.
The defeated Muffin was Jeong-ah, a former member of the idol girl group After School.
Jung-ah said, “My husband is basketball player Jung Chang-young.” The two got married in 2018.
Jung-ah, who welcomed her second child eight months ago, said, “I really wanted to be on TV again, but I couldn’t because I had to take care of my body after having two babies after four years of marriage. It was so nice to be invited to ‘King of Masked Singer’.”
“In fact, I intended to have my 2nd child a little bit later. I wanted to work. However, I gave up my plan because I had a child during the season. My husband was sorry, but when he heard that I was going to be on ‘King of Masked Singer,’ he was very happy,” she added.
