On May 14th, BoA shared her update through a live broadcast on social media. “I will have a concert in October in Korea. I hope many of you come. I am actually on my way to a concert meeting.”
“I’m doing very well now. It’s the first time I’ve had a very long vacation since my debut,” she said. “I’m going to keep eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping.” She reassured her fans with a bright update.
Early this year, BoA appeared in tvN’s drama “Marry My Husband” and released her new song “Emptiness.” However, she suffered from malicious comments about her appearance. In response, BoA wrote on SNS, “I don’t know your face, but don’t waste your time like that. I’m sorry, but I am BoA,” expressing her discomfort without any filter.
Nevertheless, the malicious comments did not stop, and she posted a message hinted about her retirement, saying, “My contract is until 2025, December 31, and I will do my best as a singer until then.” In response, her agency SM Entertainment announced the large-scale legal actions against malicious comments.
