Former I.O.I and PRISTIN member, as well as actress Im Nayoung, has finally announced her recent whereabouts.
It is known that Im Nayoung, actress, former I.O.I member, and former PRISTIN member, has signed an exclusive contract with a new agency.
In particular, the agency, Ascendio, recently announced, “We are sincerely delighted to have formed a bond with Im Nayoung, an actress who possesses outstanding charm and potential.”
At the same time, they asked for fans’ continued interest and love, claiming that they will provide full effort and active support for Im Nayoung to continue her multifaceted activities.
Meanwhile, Im Nayoung expressed her thoughts on joining Asendio, stating, “I am extremely happy and grateful to be able to share this exciting news after a long wait. I hope that this will be an exciting and joyful connection, and I will repay this gratitude through active activities.”
On the other hand, Im Nayoung gained recognition after appearing in the 2016 Mnet survival show “Produce 101”. Afterwards, she debuted as a member of project girl group I.O.I and later PRISTIN. After both of her groups disbanded, Im Nayoung ventured into acting and has since been actively working in the field.
In particular, Nayoung made her official drama debut in the 2020 series “Flower of Evil”, and has since expanded her repertoire with various works such as “Summer Guys”, “Over To You”, ”Twenty Hacker”, and “Imitation”. She has also made her theatrical debut with the 2021 play “I Loved You”.
In March, Im Nayoung performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the largest performing arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Here, she captivated the audience with her performance in “Hello, the Hell: Othello”, a physical theater production inspired by William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Othello”, where she played the role of Desdemona.
Recently, she was caught up in dating rumors with actor Choi Woong, who is 9 years older and co-starred with her in the aforementioned play. However, both parties have since refuted the rumor, and described their relationship as “close colleagues”.
