Additional Revelation Follows Jeon Jong-seo’s Stance Regarding School Violence Allegations
Actress Jeon Jong-seo’s side maintains their firm stance insisting that school violence allegations are not true
Suspicions of Jeon Jong-seo’s school violence recently spread in online communities. Accuser A claimed that the actress took P.E clothes and school uniforms from other students and and bullied them if they did not give the clothes to her.
In response, the actress’s agency issued a position denying the school violence allegations. They said, “After checking the facts with the actress and people around her, we confirmed that the claims are not true at all”. The agency also announced their plan to take legal action against speculative posts, and malicious comments.
After Jeon Jong-seo’s side released their stance, additional disclosure appeared. Introducing themselves as one of the commenters under Jeon Jong-seo’s school violence revelation, B said, “After reading the comments, I felt hurt by comments saying ‘Why are you spreading rumors and ruining someone else’s life when you can’t verify your words?’ but I gained my courage once again to say this. I was also a victim of school violence”.
They added, “Even now when I go to Yeongdeungpo, I still don’t want to visit XX middle school because of how hard I suffered back then. They say I’ll lose something if I’m going to ruin a person’s life. I already lost my school days, what else should I lose? I’m afraid that if this story gets buried, I’ll become a person who agrees with false information. I’m looking for people who also attended XX middle school to testify with me”.
Despite the emergence of additional revelation, Jeon Jong-seo’s side may not release any further statements aside from the recent one. The actress’s agency stated, “We have not received contact from anyone claiming damage so far”, adding “As stated earlier, we will take necessary legal measures through our legal representative and strongly respond to the spread of false information”.
Meanwhile, Jeon Jong-seo recently played the role of Na Ah-jeong in tvN’s Mon-Tue drama “Wedding Impossible”, which ended on April 2nd. Her next project, TVING’s “The Queen ‘Woo’”, will premiere soon.
