Actress Kim Min-jung, “Lee Byung-hun is cool but he is someone else’s man… I and Kim Hye-soo have a group of friends called ‘Seven Princesses’”

Actress Kim Min-jung appeared on the August 5th broadcast of TV Chosun’s “Heo Young Man’s Food Travel”. A comfortable eating show and the meal that Kim Min-jung fell in love with were shown.
Kim Min-jung, who made her debut at the age of 8, said, “I had been street cast many times since I was 5 – 6 years old. My aunt got me to apply for a baby clothes contest just for fun but I won first place. I started working as a model for children’s clothes then appeared in dramas and movies.”
“Born beauty” Kim Min-jung also showed her confidence in cooking. She proudly said, “I know how to cook dumpling soup”, adding “You can buy dumplings at the market. The taste depends on how deliciously you boil the broth. The taste of the soup can be different depending on the person who cooks it. You know it, right?”, showing off her lovely side.
While showing her expectations for the “mandu soup and rice” dish that she had never tried before, Kim Min-jung recalled, “I like ox blood rice soup. I often started eating together with the filming staff at dawn, and I have tried ox blood since I was 10 years old. As a little kid who worked hard, it tasted delicious to me.”
When Heo Young-man asked if Kim Min-jung thought Lee Byung-hun, who starred in the drama “Mr.Sunshine” together with her, look cool, the actress hesitated for a while then said, “He’s really cool”. Heo Young-man wondered why she didn’t answer right away, Kim Min-jung said, “Because he is someone else’s man”, drawing laughter.
Kim Min-jung introduced herself as a “hiking mania” and showed her love for mountain climbing. The actress revealed that she took the 14-hour course on Seoraksan’s Gongnyong Ridge, which is 19.1 km. She then said, “I wanted to balance myself. I’ve been hearing how people think and evaluate me for a long time and I also know what people like about me, but I don’t know what I truly like”, explaining why she started climbing. Through climbing, she spends time looking back on herself.
Kim Min-jung said that she enjoys “combinations”, such as ginseng liquor with ginseng chicken soup, rice wine with small octopus, and soju with pork. The actress smiled brightly and added, “I have a group of friends with some actresses. Kim Hye-soo, Song Yoon-ah, Yoo Seon, Lee Tae-ran and I, we’re ‘Seven Princesses’.”
Meanwhile, Kim Min-jung and Heo Young-man tried the tastes of Paju by visiting a dumpling soup restaurant that makes dumplings in the Northern style, a spicy braised chicken restaurant with a view of Aerong Lake, and a local restaurant near Provence Village that needs waiting.
