Ever since its release, the fantasy K-drama “Alchemy of Souls” has been the talk of town, with an interesting plot, a gorgeous cast, and brilliant acting performances. While Jung So Min assumes the role of female lead Mu Deok, the supporting female character Jin Cho Yeon, played by Oh My Girl member Arin, has also been drawing attention. 

In “Alchemy of Souls”, Arin assumes the role of Jin Cho Yeon – heir to the prestigious Jin clan. With such a background, she’s always dressed in bright and luxurious hanboks, alongside intricate accessories. While her long and flowy blond hair was once criticized for looking “too modern”, it greatly highlights Arin’s appearance, making her one of the most gorgeous characters in the show. 

Alongside her impressive visuals, Arin also wowed the audience with her excellent portrayal as the noble lady Jin who’s arrogant yet also soft and naive. “Alchemy of Souls” broadcasted its 16th episode on August 7th, and will pause for a week (which means no new episodes on August 13th and 14th), before airing the finale of its first season.
