A rapper from “High School Rapper” claims he has “mental and physical disorder” in trial on his allegations of molesting a boy

This rapper, who became known through Mnet’s “High School Rapper,” claimed he had a “mental and physical disorder” in the trial of him molesting a 9-year-old boy.

Rapper A attended the 11th Criminal Division (Chief Judge Roh Jong-chan) court of the Jeonju District Court on April 27th on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.

On this day, A’s lawyer said, “The defendant made an incomprehensible statement about the reason for the crime at the time that “I touched his butt to eat his sh*t”. It was because he was mentally and physically weak,” he said.

“The defendant came down to his hometown of Jeonju because he thought he was (musically) unable to recover, and later committed a crime by taking off his clothes and lying on the street due to his mental history,” he said. “He took a taxi to Haeundae, where he had no connection at all, and committed such action.”

The lawyer said, “In June last year, he was diagnosed with a severe mental disorder and was hospitalized in a mental hospital for 70 days. In light of these circumstances, it can be said that the crime, in this case, is also due to his state of mental and physical weakness,” he claimed.

“It is qualitatively different from molestation such as grabbing or hitting a woman’s body, and it is a relatively minor crime. As he is currently working on the new album, please give the defendant a chance to make his comeback.” In his final defense, A said, “I sincerely apologize for hurting the victim and his family. If you give me a chance to make a comeback, I want to help society with the music I made,” he bowed his head to apologize.

A was indicted last year on charges of remaining in Haeundae, Busan, and touching part of B (9 years old)’s body. At that time, police were dispatched due to reports from the surrounding area, and victim B said, “He touched my hip slightly. It was only a light touch,” he said. After making his name known through “High School Rapper,” A has worked with famous celebrities.

The next hearing of this case will be held in early June.
