“My roots are GOT7”, said Park Jin Young about his group.
Park Jin Young had an interview with My Daily on December 2nd. Ahead of the premiere of the movie “A Christmas Carol” on December 7th, he met with reporters and talked about it.
On this day, Park Jin Young talked about his acting and GOT7 activities at the same time, “If I had been in the same situation as I am now when I was young, I think I could have chosen one path, but now I see various attempts as just one. Acting is what I do when I get cast, but releasing albums is one of the ways I communicate directly. So I have no intention of giving up on either of them.”
He continued, “I also have a desire for music. At home, I sing hard. Not at night, but during the day. Currently, I am working on my solo album. I have prepared all the songs.”
At the same time, Park Jin Young expressed his enthusiasm, “My main character is still a ‘singer.’ It’s my root and I’ve been doing it for the longest time. I will continue to do GOT7’s activities and work on solo albums that I have not been able to do. I will try everything.”
He also mentioned the secret of GOT7’s long run that remains unwavering even after the members moved to new agencies. Park Jin Young said, “I think it’s because we are really, really close. We made a promise among ourselves. And above all, we started with GOT7, and we have to continue. We exist because we have IGOT7s who love us.”
In addition, Park Jin Young also expressed his respect for ‘GOT7’s father’ and the former CEO of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin Young.
Park Jin Young, who has entered his 10th year of debut, said, “To be honest, when I was young, I was very careful and acted with pretense. I looked around a lot and acted accordingly.”
Meanwhile, “A Christmas Carol” is an action thriller in which the older brother Il Woo, who entered the juvenile detention center for revenge after the death of his twin brother Wol Woo (played by Park Jin Young), engages in a brutal confrontation with the juvenile detention gang.
