MAMAMOO member Hwasa is receiving widespread praise after continuing her performance at PSY’s Summer Swag despite suffering a bleeding knee injury during the concert.
According to fan accounts shared on online communities and social media, the incident occurred during PSY’s Summer Swag concert held in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on July 25.
While performing hit songs including “Maria” and “Chili,” Hwasa moved onto an extended stage for part of her choreography. During a sequence that required her to kneel, she appeared to scrape her knee, leaving it visibly injured. Videos from the concert showed blood running down her leg, yet Hwasa continued performing without showing any visible signs of pain. She completed the remainder of her scheduled set while continuing to interact with the audience.
