On June 15, former entertainment reporter and YouTuber Lee Jin Ho uploaded a video detailing what he claimed was a list of gifts provided by Cha Ga-won to MC Mong.

According to the report, the gifts ranged from luxury vehicles and designer watches to electronics, furniture, jewelry, and housing-related expenses. The alleged list includes:

  • Rolls-Royce Cullinan – ₩700 million
  • Ferrari Roma – ₩300 million
  • Rolls-Royce Spectre – ₩500 million
  • Mercedes-Benz G-Class Classic – ₩500 million
  • Richard Mille watch – ₩5 billion
  • Patek Philippe Tiffany edition watch – ₩300 million
  • Audemars Piguet gold watch – ₩300 million
  • Luxury bed – ₩100 million
  • Bang & Olufsen television – ₩50 million
  • LG Rollable TV – ₩100 million
  • Furniture – ₩500 million
  • Jewelry – ₩1 billion
  • Security deposit support – ₩1 billion

The total estimated value of the gifts reportedly exceeds ₩10.3 billion.

According to MC Mong’s side, Cha Ga-won allegedly sold or reclaimed some of the gifts over time. However, reports claim that several high-value items including luxury watches, jewelry worth approximately ₩1 billion, and a luxury bed remain in MC Mong’s possession. The exact ownership status of the items has not been independently verified.

The latest allegations come months after a financial dispute between the two parties became public. In December 2025, Cha Ga-won reportedly filed a repayment claim seeking ₩12.064 billion from MC Mong. A court-issued payment order was finalized after MC Mong did not file an objection within the legal deadline. At the time, Cha Ga-won stated that additional funds beyond the amount listed in the claim had also been lent and could be pursued separately in the future. It remains unclear whether any of the alleged gifts were included in the repayment claim.

Earlier this month, investigative program PD Notebook reported that ₩12 billion allegedly provided by Cha Ga-won was used to repay MC Mong’s gambling debts. The report claimed the funds were separate from the gifts and had been provided as loans. Cha Ga-won denied knowingly funding gambling-related expenses, stating that MC Mong allegedly told her the money would be used for production costs associated with entertainment projects. MC Mong also denied the accusations, stating: “I have never used company funds for gambling.”

The controversy comes as ONE HUNDRED and its subsidiary Big Planet Made Entertainment face mounting financial difficulties. Reports indicate that employee salaries and mandatory insurance contributions have gone unpaid for more than three months. Several contractors including security firms, music video production companies, and cleaning service providers are also reportedly owed significant amounts. Critics within and outside the company have argued that both Cha Ga-won and MC Mong should bear responsibility for the ongoing wage-payment issues.

Separately, police recently applied for an arrest warrant for Cha Ga-won on fraud-related charges under South Korea’s Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes. Investigators allege that she secured a ₩24.2 billion advance payment from technology company Nomus after proposing a business venture involving intellectual property rights belonging to artists under her agency, but failed to carry out the project as promised. She also faces separate allegations involving a housing deposit scheme in which she allegedly received ₩5.4 billion from an acquaintance after proposing reciprocal lease agreements but did not fulfill her contractual obligations. Prosecutors are currently reviewing whether to formally request the warrant.

As legal investigations continue, both MC Mong and Cha Ga-won remain at the center of one of South Korea’s most closely watched entertainment industry controversies.
