Eli has officially announced his remarriage, sharing wedding photos and a heartfelt message with fans nearly five years after his divorce from former wife Ji Yeon-soo. On June 11, the U-KISS member took to social media to reveal the happy news, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Alongside his wedding photos, Eli reflected on the challenges he has faced over the past several years. “The last five years have been some of the most difficult and transformative years of my life,” he wrote. “There were many ups and downs, hard lessons to learn, and opportunities for personal growth. There were also moments that changed the way I view life.” The singer explained that during that period, he met a woman who brought understanding, happiness, and peace into his life.

Eli credited his future wife for helping him through some of his most difficult moments. According to his message, her patience and support helped him overcome hardships while making life’s happiest moments even more meaningful. “I am happy to share that I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with,” Eli wrote. “I feel incredibly blessed to begin this new chapter together, and I am excited about the future that lies ahead for us.”

The announcement was met with warm congratulations from fans and fellow entertainers.

The singer also expressed gratitude to the people who stood by him throughout his personal struggles. He thanked fans who supported him through his music career, friendships, prayers, and words of encouragement, saying their kindness meant more to him than they could imagine. Eli added that he would not be where he is today without those who remained by his side during difficult times.

Eli debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2008 and became one of the group’s most recognizable members. In 2014, he married Ji Yeon-soo, a former racing model and television personality who is 11 years older than him. The couple welcomed a son during their marriage. However, the pair divorced in 2020 after six years of marriage. Their relationship later drew public attention when they appeared together on the TV Chosun reality program We Got Divorced 2 in 2022, where they discussed their past relationship and co-parenting journey.

After leaving U-KISS in 2019 following the expiration of his contract, Eli reunited with the group in 2023. Since returning, he has continued activities with the veteran K-pop group while also pursuing individual projects.

Now, with his remarriage announcement, Eli is beginning a new stage in both his personal and professional life, receiving an outpouring of support from fans who have followed his journey over the years.
