There are no boundaries in love. Wavve’s new original dating reality show Stand By Me has officially confirmed its premiere date for June 19.
Stand By Me introduces a fresh take on romance reality programming, exploring genuine emotions and diverse possibilities of love beyond gender labels. Participants enter the show without restricting themselves by gender, focusing solely on emotional connection and the “possibility” of love as they navigate relationships in whatever direction their feelings lead them.
Unlike traditional dating shows, Stand By Me places a stronger emphasis on contestants deeply getting to know one another while confronting their own emotions and personal truths.
The show has also unveiled its official poster and teaser. The poster features the silhouettes of three men and women sitting side by side, using an unconventional composition to hint at relationships that are not fixed in one direction. Accompanied by the phrase, “All the possibilities of love we could have,” the visual raises anticipation for the show’s unique atmosphere.
The newly released teaser further builds excitement by showcasing the cast’s candid and ever-changing emotions. During their first meetings, participants ask one another, “What gender were you expecting?” revealing an open-minded perspective toward relationships in every direction.
