Go So Young recently shared the story on her personal YouTube channel in a video titled “Introducing Go So Young’s Sister-in-Law for the First Time The Nail Artist Loved by Many Celebrities.”

During the vlog, Go So Young discussed everyday family life while traveling to meet her sister-in-law, a well-known nail artist in South Korea. The conversation took an unexpected turn when the production team complimented the stylish sweater she was wearing. Go So Young then revealed that the sweater actually belonged to her husband. “This is my husband’s sweater,” she said with a smile.

According to the actress, the sweater had been worn by Jang Dong Gun long before the couple got married.

Go So Young explained that she had carefully stored many of her husband’s clothes over the years, hoping that one day their son would be able to wear them. “I kept all the clothes my husband wore before we got married so that our son could wear them later,” she shared.

Believing her son would inherit his father’s build, she thought the clothes would become meaningful keepsakes passed down between generations. However, things did not go according to plan.

The actress revealed that her son experienced a significant growth spurt in recent years. “My son suddenly gained a lot of muscle and is now over 185 centimeters tall. His shoulders are even broader than his father’s,” Go So Young said. uThe revelation quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom were stunned to learn that the teenager had already surpassed his father in size.

Because of his rapid physical development, many of the clothes Go So Young saved for him no longer fit. “All those clothes have become mine now,” she joked.

News that the couple’s 16-year-old son already stands over 185cm tall has sparked widespread discussion online.

Many netizens believe he inherited exceptional genes from both of his parents. Jang Dong Gun has long been recognized as one of South Korea’s most handsome actors, known for his tall stature and striking visuals, while Go So Young remains one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated actresses.

Though the couple rarely shares details about their children, updates about their family consistently attract public attention.

Jang Dong-gun and Go So-young tied the knot in 2010 after dating for several years. The celebrity couple has two children, a son and a daughter, and has largely kept their family life private. Despite their discretion, occasional stories about their children continue to fascinate fans.
