Fans of rookie boy group CORTIS are urging the group’s agency to take stronger measures after allegations surfaced about an individual accused of repeatedly targeting underage member Seonghyeon. The controversy has sparked widespread concern online, with fans describing the alleged behavior as invasive and inappropriate, particularly because Seonghyeon is only 17 years old.
According to fan reports circulating on social media, the individual in question has allegedly posted videos showing herself outside the headquarters of HYBE, where CORTIS conducts activities.

Screenshots and translated posts shared by fans claim that the individual intentionally waited around the building in hopes of encountering Seonghyeon. Some fans alleged that she publicly discussed plans to remain near the company building in order to create opportunities for accidental meetings with the idol. These claims have not been independently verified by authorities or the agency.

The situation escalated after online users shared additional allegations regarding the individual’s behavior toward underage idols. Some fans claimed they had previously seen the same person following other young idols while wearing revealing outfits. Screenshots circulating online also included translated posts that many fans interpreted as highly inappropriate and concerning.
Separate allegations further accused the individual of making disturbing comments involving sexual violence toward idols. These claims have intensified concerns among fans and prompted calls for immediate intervention.

At the time of writing, no official criminal charges related to these allegations have been publicly announced.
As discussions spread across social media platforms, many CORTIS fans have reportedly coordinated efforts to report the situation directly to the group’s management. Supporters argue that entertainment agencies should take proactive steps to protect artists from harassment, stalking, and inappropriate behavior, especially when minors are involved.

Many fans expressed shock that an adult would allegedly engage in such conduct toward a teenage idol and emphasized the importance of maintaining clear boundaries between artists and fans.
The incident has reignited broader discussions about idol safety and the ongoing problem of sasaeng behavior within the K-pop industry.

“Sasaeng” is a term commonly used to describe individuals who engage in obsessive or invasive actions toward celebrities, including stalking, harassment, unauthorized surveillance, or attempts to obtain private information. While fan culture remains a major part of K-pop’s global success, industry observers have increasingly called for stronger protections for artists, particularly younger performers who may be more vulnerable to such situations.
As of now, neither CORTIS nor their management has publicly addressed the allegations.
