In the May 26 episode of the web variety show Jae Suk’s B&B Rules!, the cast members gathered together and shared honest stories about their personal struggles and experiences. During the episode, Ji Ye Eun drew attention after speaking candidly about the difficult period she endured due to her declining health.
While preparing food at the camp, Yoo Jae Suk carefully told her, “Thankfully, you’ve fully recovered now. People probably wouldn’t even notice anymore.”
Ji Ye Eun responded, “That’s true. I’ve gotten much better now,” before adding, “I’ve recovered a lot. I’m really grateful.”
She then revealed the seriousness of her condition at the time, saying, “They told me that even if it’s only 0.1cm, it can still spread. In my case, they said there was quite a lot of cancer, so I’m truly thankful things turned out okay.”
Later during the campfire session, Ji Ye Eun became emotional and was seen quietly wiping away tears after Yoo Jae Suk told the participants, “You can throw away all the things you want to let go of into this fire, and also make wishes for the things you hope for.”
The other cast members comforted her by asking, “Why are you crying?” and “Please don’t cry.” Yoo Jae Suk then explained, “As many of you may already know from the articles, Ye Eun was sick. Thankfully, she recovered her health and was able to join us here today.”
Meanwhile, Ji Ye Eun previously took a temporary hiatus from activities last year due to worsening health conditions. At the time, reports claimed her break was related to hypothyroidism, but her agency responded cautiously, stating that it was difficult to confirm because it involved private medical information.
