On May 25, Hani shared a heartfelt message on her social media account reflecting on EXID’s recent concert, EXID: Extra ID in Taipei, held in Taipei.
“Realizing that my sincerity had reached someone, and that someone had been looking at me with such warmth and affection, fills my heart once again,” she wrote in English.
Hani also expressed her gratitude and support for fans who continued standing by her during difficult times.
“I will always cheer on your precious lives as well. I sincerely hope all of you will be happy too. Please stay healthy, and let’s definitely meet again.”
Alongside the message, the idol shared photos of handwritten letters and gifts she received from fans during the concert. Fans especially noticed Hani’s handwritten name in slightly awkward cursive, which added a personal and emotional touch to the post.
Hani took a temporary break from activities in 2024 after controversy arose involving her fiancé, Yang Jae Woong.
At the time, a woman in her 30s reportedly passed away at a psychiatric hospital where Yang Jae Woong served as director, leading to significant public criticism and media attention.

As the controversy continued, Hani voluntarily stepped down from the upcoming program Review Four Cuts and later postponed her wedding, which had originally been scheduled for September 2024.
After spending time away from the spotlight, Hani resumed broadcasting activities last year through her appearance on Immortal Songs.
Many fans responded warmly to Hani’s latest message, expressing support for the star as she slowly returns to public activities.
