Lee Young Ji is once again attracting attention for her honesty after openly discussing her recent cosmetic procedure.
In a newly uploaded episode of her YouTube show No Prepare, Lee Young Ji introduced herself by jokingly saying: “This is Lee Young Ji returning after under-eye fat repositioning surgery.”
The rapper appeared wearing sunglasses throughout the recording and explained that she was still recovering from swelling.
According to Lee Young Ji, the filming took place only six days after the procedure, which is why her face had not fully settled yet.
She humorously added: “Articles already came out after I revealed I got under-eye fat repositioning done. They wrote things like ‘dramatically transformed appearance.’ But I still haven’t changed yet.”
Lee Young Ji continued joking about the situation, saying even she did not yet know what the final results would look like.
“Even I don’t know yet, so please don’t write articles about the results,” she laughed.
The rapper first publicly revealed the procedure during a concert appearance at Inspire Arena on April 19.
At the time, Lee Young Ji performed alongside BSS members DK and Seungkwan during their unit concert.
Because she wore sunglasses on stage, Lee Young Ji personally clarified the reason to avoid misunderstandings.
She explained: “I’m not wearing sunglasses because I’m being rude at my seniors’ concert. I had under-eye fat repositioning surgery.”
After the performance, Lee Young Ji further addressed the topic through a fan communication platform, explaining that she debated whether to reveal the procedure publicly because she worried it might appear as though she was promoting cosmetic surgery.
The rapper emphasized that the decision came after years of 고민 about constantly hearing people ask whether she looked tired.
According to Lee Young Ji, she considered the procedure carefully for four years before finally going through with it and stated that it would likely be both her first and last cosmetic procedure.
