DAY6 member Dowoon is at the center of heated dating rumors after a viral online thread claimed to expose his alleged relationship with influencer Yoo Ji Yoo.
The speculation quickly spread across Korean online communities and social media, with netizens compiling multiple pieces of so-called “evidence” connecting the idol to the influencer. Neither Dowoon nor his agency JYP Entertainment has addressed the rumors so far.
One of the biggest clues cited by fans was Yoo Ji Yoo’s pet dog, which allegedly appeared inside Dowoon’s car and later inside his music studio. Screenshots comparing the dog’s appearance in separate posts instantly gained traction online.
The viral thread also pointed to several matching items allegedly shared by the two. In one vlog, Dowoon showed off a keyring he described as a gift from an acquaintance. Fans later noticed the exact same keyring appearing in Yoo Ji Yoo’s photos and YouTube videos, where she showcased her personal collection.
Adding more fuel to the rumors, Yoo Ji Yoo was also seen wearing clothing from Umbro — a brand currently endorsed by DAY6 and Dowoon.
Netizens further highlighted similarities in interior decorations, including matching plants and identical “fishing cat” ornaments spotted in both of their spaces.
The thread didn’t stop there. Some users additionally claimed Yoo Ji Yoo follows non-celebrity friends connected to Young K on social media, while others alleged Dowoon once visited her father in the hospital. However, no concrete photographic proof has surfaced regarding either claim.
Despite the lack of official confirmation, the dating rumors have already triggered intense reactions online, with Korean netizens debating whether the compiled clues are convincing or simply coincidences.
As the speculation continues to spread, many fans are waiting to see whether Dowoon or JYP Entertainment will eventually break their silence.
