On May 15, Jo Jung Suk held a late-night livestream through the YouTube channel Cheonggyesan Daengi Records, where he spent time communicating with fans in real time.
Starting the broadcast with a smile, the actor joked, “I turned on the live after finishing parenting duties. I told you I’d really come.”
During the stream, fans asked whether his first daughter, Ye Won, felt jealous of her younger sister Ah Yeon. Jo Jung Suk immediately shook off the idea, saying, “She’s not jealous at all. She’s incredibly sweet.”
He then explained that his eldest daughter actually takes even better care of the baby and hilariously reenacted one of her reactions at home.
Putting his finger over his lips, Jo Jung Suk imitated his daughter saying, “Ah Yeon is sleeping, so please be quiet. Quiet!” The adorable imitation made viewers laugh.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with reactions such as “She’s already acting like a real big sister,” “That’s so cute,” and “They sound like such realistic siblings.”
Jo Jung Suk also briefly talked about his future concert plans during the livestream. He explained, “I probably won’t be able to hold a concert at the end of this year,” adding that filming for a new drama would begin in the summer and continue until the first half of next year.
The actor additionally confirmed his appearance in the upcoming drama “Paper Man.”
When fans later asked about his glasses, Jo Jung Suk revealed that he had previously undergone vision correction surgery. He mentioned, “You remember the Iceland episode of ‘Youth Over Flowers,’ right?”
He clarified that he did not undergo LASIK or LASEK procedures, instead choosing lens implantation surgery. According to the actor, the glasses he currently wears are mainly for eye protection, which is why he often keeps them on in daily life.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk married singer Gummy in 2018. The couple has two daughters together. Their first daughter was born in 2020, while their second daughter was born this past January.
