On May 13, Min Do Hee uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel “Mini Dohee” titled “I Went Back 13 Years…” where she recreated her iconic Reply 1994 character styling and revisited memories from the drama that made her famous.
During the video, the actress was asked about the controversy surrounding a photo she uploaded in 2025 that showed her placing her feet while wearing shoes on airport seats, triggering backlash over public manners.
Without hesitation, Min Do Hee immediately apologized again. “That’s right. I’m sorry,” she said.

She then attempted to explain the behavior, though some viewers may still see it as controversial. “It might sound like an excuse, but I’m short and my legs are short too,” she explained. “When I sit on chairs, my feet don’t comfortably touch the floor, so I developed a habit of either sitting cross-legged or lifting my feet up.”
She added that the backlash ultimately became a wake-up call. “After that incident, it definitely became an opportunity for me to fix the habit,” she admitted.
The original controversy erupted in September 2025 after Min Do Hee posted photos from an airport lounge with her feet resting on seats while still wearing shoes. Many netizens criticized the act as inconsiderate and unhygienic in a shared public space.

At the time, she also issued a formal apology, stating: “I sincerely apologize for causing discomfort through my careless behavior. Wearing shoes while placing my feet on the seats was inappropriate, and I should have been more careful as a public figure.”
While some viewers appreciated her honesty in revisiting the issue, others questioned whether the explanation about her height and posture habits fully justified the behavior.
Still, many fans praised Min Do Hee for openly acknowledging the criticism instead of ignoring the controversy altogether.
