On May 4, a video titled “TXT Soobin & Beomgyu [Zzanbro EP.143] Love Me Just One More Day” was released on the YouTube channel Zzanbro. Hosts Shin Dong-yup and Jung Ho-chul welcomed the two warmly, joking, “We didn’t realize there would be this many female staff members just because TXT is coming. They even prepared light sticks.”

The atmosphere naturally shifted into a relaxed drinking conversation. Beomgyu shared, “I usually drink alone,” while Soobin added, “I like highballs, but I can’t drink much even if I want to. It’s actually my first time drinking at this hour.” In response, Shin Dong-yup joked, “Isn’t the reason you can drink this comfortably because you successfully renewed your contract?” drawing laughter.
During the conversation, Soobin made a particularly heartfelt confession about his school days. He recalled, “When I was in high school, rumors spread that I was a trainee, so people would come to see me. I wasn’t exactly bullied, but it felt like I was being excluded.” He continued, “Because I had to leave school early for training, I faced jealousy. Sometimes, when I tried to leave, they would even block the door so I couldn’t go out.” Despite that, he said calmly, “I would just say ‘Move’ and leave,” reflecting on the situation with composure. When Shin Dong-yup commented, “Those people must regret it now,” Soobin responded, “I hope they do.”

The conversation also touched on the financial realities of being an idol. The two explained, “Payments are settled at the end of each month and received at the end of the following month.” Beomgyu shared, “When I received my first big paycheck, I spent it meaningfully. Since I love games, I invested in something for myself.” He added humorously, “For my first self-produced song earnings, I sent half to my parents and used the rest to maintain my ranking in games.”

On the other hand, Soobin revealed, “I don’t spend much on games. I always felt sorry for using my parents’ money, so as soon as I got my first payment, I sent my mom a few million won for her birthday,” adding a warm and touching note.
From past wounds to present realities and their love for family, the honest confessions from both idols have resonated deeply with fans.
