Ok Taecyeon, a member of 2PM, tied the knot on April 24 at the Shilla Hotel’s Yeongbin Hall in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. His bride is a non-celebrity four years younger than him, and the couple reportedly dated for around 10 years. Considering her non-public status, the ceremony was held privately with only family members and close acquaintances in attendance.
However, photos believed to be from the wedding quickly circulated across Chinese social media platforms and online communities. Some posts claimed that hotel guests captured the images from their rooms, photographing the ceremony from outside their windows.
The leaked images show Ok Taecyeon standing alongside his bride. Notably, the bride’s face was revealed without any mosaic or blur, intensifying the controversy. Since the wedding was intentionally kept private to protect her identity, criticism has grown over the exposure.

Regardless of how the photos were taken, many point out that the unauthorized distribution itself constitutes a clear violation of privacy.
Ok Taecyeon had previously announced his marriage in November last year through a handwritten letter, sharing, “I have promised to spend my life with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time.”
Fellow 2PM member Hwang Chansung hosted the wedding, and the members performed congratulatory songs. With this marriage, Ok Taecyeon became the second married member of the group after Hwang Chansung.
Meanwhile, Ok Taecyeon plans to continue his activities with 2PM. The group is set to hold a concert at Tokyo Dome on May 9 and 10 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their Japanese debut.
