On the April 5 broadcast of SBS variety show Running Man, actors Jung Woo, Krystal (Jung Soo Jung), and Shin Seung Ho—stars of the upcoming film “Audition 109”—appeared as guests and competed in a fierce race to become the ultimate winner.

On this day, Krystal appeared as both a singer and actress, showcasing her evolution from a member of f(x) to a full-fledged actress. Noting that it had been about 10 years since her last appearance on the show, she shared, “I was here in 2014,” prompting the cast to marvel, “You look exactly the same as 12 years ago—your visuals are incredible.”

Returning as a leading actress, Krystal received a warm welcome from the members. She also recalled her past victory during the “wedding race” with Gary 12 years ago, where she won a TV as a prize—and revealed she is still using it to this day. Her simple and down-to-earth personality impressed everyone, showcasing an unexpected charm. The production team even noted, “She’s appeared twice, and she’s won every time,” raising expectations for another victory.

Meanwhile, fellow lead actor Shin Seung Ho also stood out during the episode. In a knowledge quiz segment, he surprised everyone with his sharp thinking and intelligence, proving himself to be more than just a physical presence.

When asked about his favorite quote, Shin Seung Ho answered, “A Bible verse,” revealing his faith. Cast member Ji Ye Eun showed interest and joked, “He’s like a church oppa—are you flirting with me?” When he replied that she was actually a year older than him, she humorously said, “I still want to call you oppa,” drawing laughter.

Even after getting off the bus, the members continued teasing and supporting them, saying, “Ye Eun, walk next to Seung Ho—you look good together.” Meanwhile, Yang Se Chan became the subject of playful jokes when Yoo Jae Suk revealed, “During the break, Ji Ye Eun asked Se Chan if he was jealous,” causing everyone to burst into laughter. Yang Se Chan jokingly held her hand and said, “Let’s all hold hands,” naturally linking hands with Shin Seung Ho as well and creating a lively atmosphere.

As Krystal walked alone behind them, Ji Ye Eun noticed and said apologetically, “She’s my friend, but she’s walking alone.” Krystal responded warmly, “Go enjoy your date—romance comes first,” showing her supportive personality. She also expressed surprise upon learning Yang Se Chan was in his 40s, saying, “I thought you were in your mid-to-late 30s—you look young,” which amused everyone.

Towards the end of the show, Krystal—who had always won in her previous appearances—was selected for a penalty, leaving her shocked as she exclaimed, “There are penalties too?” However, she ended up receiving a flower petal penalty instead of getting soaked in water, once again proving her “lucky girl” status.
