On the evening of March 26, BABYMONSTER attended the Vogue red carpet event in Hong Kong, drawing massive attention from both local and international media. All six members wore dark-toned, minimalist yet elegant dresses, but Asa stood out the most with visuals so sharp and flawless they resembled an animated character.
Asa’s appearance at the event left viewers stunned: her small face with near-perfect proportions, sharp yet feminine features, and smooth skin even under unedited camera shots. Her high nose bridge and piercing eyes added to the effect, while her short bob hairstyle framed her face perfectly enhancing her cool, chic, and luxurious aura.

Overall, Asa gave off an almost unreal presence, so perfect that many joked she looked even sharper than CGI graphics. From her aura to her facial structure, everything seemed flawlessly “rendered,” with no bad angles. Combined with her elegant curves and ideal height of 1.68m, netizens couldn’t help but compare her to Ada Wong from Resident Evil. Both share a cold, mysterious charisma and a dangerously captivating beauty that’s impossible to ignore.
Interestingly, in the past, when discussing celebrities who could embody Ada Wong’s beauty, many pointed to Li Bingbing. However, Asa is now being seen as a “new-generation version,” maintaining that enigmatic aura while adding a youthful, modern Gen Z idol vibe.

Asa is one of two Japanese members in BABYMONSTER, alongside Ruka. Born in 2006, she serves as a rapper in the group. Even during her trainee days, she impressed with her flexible rap delivery, clear pronunciation, and confident stage presence.
In addition to her rap skills, Asa has shown strong potential as an all-rounder, with notable dance ability and performance charisma. Despite her young age, her professionalism has already set her apart, positioning her as one of BABYMONSTER’s future key members in both music and visual appeal.

Beyond her talent, Asa is also praised for her unique visual style a blend of distinct Japanese beauty with the soft, trendy vibe of K-pop. This combination has quickly made her one of the group’s most popular members.
On March 4, producer Yang Hyun Suk officially revealed plans for the group through the “2026 YG Plan” announcement video. He shared that BABYMONSTER will release an EP titled Choom in May, followed by their second full-length album in the second half of the year. The group is also set to kick off a world tour starting in June, covering regions including South America, Europe, and Oceania.
