On March 18, Noh Seul-bi uploaded photos showcasing a vibrant floral tattoo on her body and shared the story behind it. “In Korea, I often receive misunderstandings and criticism because of my tattoos, but this one is a cover-up,” she explained. She went on to reveal that her child’s father currently in prison had once forced her to engrave his name onto her body. “To me, it’s a painful yet beautiful part of my life,” she added, reflecting her emotional growth.

Following her revelation, public attention has once again turned to the tragic experiences she endured as a teenager. Through previous appearances on shows like Teenage Parents 3 and Attack of the Sisters, she had shared that at 19, she was manipulated by a man claiming to be a shaman. He threatened her by saying her father would kill her if she didn’t live with him, leading her to run away and cohabit with him.

The man reportedly lied about being infertile and refused contraception, resulting in a forced pregnancy. Even after childbirth, she allegedly suffered from infidelity and physical abuse. Shockingly, after their divorce, he was said to have demanded that she falsely report their daughter as deceased.

After enduring years of hardship, Noh Seul-bi eventually underwent a spiritual initiation and chose to walk the path of a shaman. On Battle of Fates, which concluded on March 4, she impressed viewers with her exceptional abilities, earning the nickname of a “talented MZ-generation shaman.” Her ability to accurately read situations using only a deceased person’s birthdate particularly amazed both cast members and audiences.

Now standing strong for her daughter, Daon, Noh Seul-bi has transformed even the scars on her body into art. As she closes a painful chapter of her life, she is preparing to move forward as her true self, receiving widespread support and encouragement for the next phase of her journey.
