According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday on March 9 (local time), Barbie Hsu’s mother recently visited her daughter’s grave at Chin Pao San Cemetery and expressed her deep longing through an emotional message.
Photos released from the visit showed Barbie Hsu’s mother standing in front of a memorial statue dedicated to her daughter. With her hands clasped together, she looked toward the statue, conveying her sorrow and affection.
She shared her feelings in a heartfelt message: “My beloved baby. The weather was nice, but when I climbed up to Chin Pao San, strong wind and rain suddenly came. My heart feels just as painful.”

Despite the grief, she expressed gratitude toward fans who continue to honor her daughter’s memory. “Thankfully, many fans still visit with flowers,” she said, thanking them for their continued support and remembrance.
She also mentioned Koo Jun Yup, providing a brief update on his condition. “He caught a cold, but he still prepares breakfast and eats together with me in the morning. I’m very grateful,” she revealed.
In her final message, Barbie Hsu’s mother spoke about the future of the actress’s children. “I will watch over the children so they can grow up healthy and peacefully. I love you,” she wrote, directing her words to her daughter in heaven.
Koo Jun Yup and Barbie Hsu first dated in the late 1990s before going their separate ways. More than 20 years later, the couple reunited and married in 2022, a love story that drew widespread public attention.

Tragically, Barbie Hsu passed away in February last year due to complications from pneumonia after contracting influenza during a trip to Japan.
Since her passing, Koo Jun Yup has reportedly visited her grave at Chin Pao San almost every day. On February 3, the first anniversary of her death, a memorial statue designed by Koo Jun Yup himself was officially unveiled at the cemetery.
At the time, Koo Jun Yup shared an emotional message on social media about his grief. “When I force my heavy body to get up and think about what I could make that you would like, pack some food, and drive to Chin Pao San, tears flow endlessly from longing,” he wrote. “When we meet again, let’s stay together forever. I miss you so much. I miss you to death.”
