According to Chinese outlet Sohu, the singer suddenly experienced shortness of breath, turned pale, felt dizzy, and nearly fainted while soaking in a hot spring during recording.

The situation caused panic among the entire production team. Fellow celebrities on set quickly rushed to support and hold him, fearing he might collapse and hit his head on the ground. The director immediately halted filming, called an ambulance, and had staff provide on-site care until medical personnel arrived. Fortunately, Huang Zitao’s condition later stabilized.

Huang Zitao shared that he received 43 stitches on his head following the operation, though the surgery was ultimately successful.

In addition to his past brain injury, his recent physical condition has also raised concerns. Since late 2025, Huang Zitao has gained weight rapidly, reportedly exceeding 90 kilograms, with a noticeable change in appearance.
