Former U-KISS member Dongho (32, birth name Shin Dongho) and his ex-wife are embroiled in a heated public dispute, with both sides exchanging serious allegations through social media.
On February 26, Dongho took to his SNS to firmly deny accusations previously raised by his ex-wife, identified as A. He stated, “I have never committed adultery. Claims regarding visitation rights, child support, and abuse are all false.” He added that he plans to file criminal charges against A for spreading false information and defamation.
In response, A posted a lengthy rebuttal on her Instagram the same day, making shocking counterclaims. “He says everything is false. You must be out of your mind. Fine, let’s go all the way. Please sue me,” she wrote. She further alleged, “I will reveal the names of the members who engaged in prostitution with Dongho.”
A continued by asserting that she has never received child support and accused Dongho of physical abuse toward their son. She claimed she is prepared to present bank records from both her own and her mother’s accounts as proof that no payments were made. She also alleged to possess a recorded phone conversation with Dongho’s mother, in which she purportedly apologized for abuse.
Adding to the controversy, A shared a screenshot of a mobile messenger conversation. The profile photo reportedly showed Dongho’s face under the name “동블비.” In the messages, the individual allegedly wrote statements such as, “You just have to teach him to control bar girls with money,” and “You should give him three condoms.” A claimed, “He said he would make our son engage in prostitution.”
A also addressed visitation rights, stating, “I let him see our son without taking money. My friends have known for a long time that I showed him our son without receiving a single penny and that he never paid child support.” She added harsh criticism toward Dongho, accusing him of pretending to be kind in public while acting differently behind closed doors.
She further argued, “People say you need to hear both sides. But it is a public fact that I raised our child alone after divorcing him due to his affair. Why is the victim being harmed more? Why is he trying to drag down his own son with him?”
Dongho debuted as a member of U-KISS before leaving the group in 2013. He married a non-celebrity woman one year his senior in 2015, and the couple welcomed a son in 2016. However, they divorced in 2018. Since then, Dongho has reportedly relocated to Japan, where he has been active as a DJ and businessman.
As the situation continues to escalate, both parties have indicated plans to pursue legal action. With serious allegations being raised publicly, many are calling for the matter to be resolved through official investigations rather than social media exchanges.
