On the January 27 episode of SBS’s variety show Whenever Possible, Lee Sun Bin and Kim Young Dae appeared as special guests alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok. During the episode, Yoo Jae Suk warmly introduced Lee Sun Bin by saying he knew her well, adding with a grin that she was “closely connected” to Lee Kwang Soo.
Lee Sun Bin, who has been in a public relationship with Lee Kwang Soo for nine years, recently drew attention after being spotted making playful gestures toward him at an awards ceremony where he received a prize. Their easygoing chemistry once again became a talking point on the show.
While discussing her recent drama To the Moon, Lee Sun Bin spoke fondly about forming close bonds with younger co-stars. She described Kim Young Dae as the type of junior who needs extra care “kind, shy, and someone you can’t help but worry about”. Yoo Jae Suk jokingly responded that this sounded exactly like how he feels about Lee Kwang Soo.
Kim Young Dae then shared his own encounter with Lee Kwang Soo, recalling how the actor offered him sincere life advice about manners and character. Despite the serious tone, Kim admitted he struggled to keep a straight face because Lee Kwang Soo’s expressions alone made him want to laugh. When Lee Kwang Soo suddenly asked, “Did you just smile?” the moment became even funnier.
That was when Lee Sun Bin chimed in with the comment that sent the studio into laughter. She revealed, “He even says you should ask for permission before going to the bathroom,” before teasing Yoo Jae Suk by asking if Lee Kwang Soo had learned that from him. Yoo Jae Suk proudly replied that Lee Kwang Soo had indeed picked it up from him, embracing his role as Lee Kwang Soo’s longtime variety mentor.
Lee Sun Bin and Lee Kwang Soo have been openly dating since 2018, making them one of the entertainment industry’s most enduring celebrity couples. As public interest in their possible marriage continues year after year, Lee Sun Bin even sparked buzz last year by subtly referencing marriage during her speech at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards.
