Annie, member of co-ed group AllDay Project and granddaughter of Shinsegae Group’s chairwoman, recently opened up about a frustrating situation following her return to Columbia University. During a live “Study With Me” broadcast on January 24, where she studied alongside fans while working on assignments, Annie shared that her school email address had been leaked.
With her laptop open and her focus on coursework, she paused to speak candidly: “I know it’s really easy to figure out my school ID,” she began. “But if you send emails to my school address, it becomes really difficult for me to find important messages from professors or the university.”

While she acknowledged that the messages fans send are always kind, she gently requested: “If you want to reach out, please use Day Off (communication app) or other platforms. I can read them there. But please avoid sending messages to my school email, as it interferes with school communications.”
Annie also touched on fan encounters on campus. “If you know my school schedule and happen to see me, feel free to say hello—I’ll greet you back. But please understand that I might not be in the best condition at the time,” she said. Jokingly, she added, “If you really want to see me, you’ll just have to work hard and get into Columbia University too.”
Her openness continued as she offered to share her lecture notes with any fan who successfully gets into Columbia, showcasing her characteristic warmth and connection with fans.

Annie, who is currently majoring in Art History and Visual Arts at the Ivy League school, recently resumed her studies for the Spring 2026 semester, which runs through May. Her decision to return was made after she reached the limit for academic leave. She previously revealed, “I was told early last year that I couldn’t extend my leave any longer, so I discussed it with the members and the company in advance. I only have one semester left. I worked hard before and earned enough credits—just one more semester and I graduate.”
