Musical actor Bae Nara impressed viewers with his hands-on creativity and heartfelt living space in the January 23 episode of MBC’s I Live Alone (Ep. 631). The show gave audiences a glimpse into his cozy one-room apartment, where he has lived for over six years.
Introducing his home, Bae Nara described it as a space filled with memories and warmth: “I’ve lived here for over six years. It’s a space full of good memories. I’ve stuck everything on the walls to make use of the space. You’ll find everything you need, nothing unnecessary.” Panelists Code Kunst and Leejung admired his neatness, commenting, “For someone who’s lived here six years, that’s incredibly tidy.”

The apartment reflected Bae Nara’s personal touch everywhere. From walls painted gray, self-tailored curtains, and light fixtures he swapped with the landlord’s permission, to a hand-painted bathroom door every detail was intentionally curated. “It actually looks better in person. When the landlord visited, they were very happy and said I did a great job,” he said proudly.
The highlight of the space was a clever creation made for his beloved cat, whom he adopted from a friend after temporary fostering. Bae Nara had transformed a wardrobe into a makeshift cat tower, ensuring the feline could climb and move around freely. “I made my own version of a cat tower so the cat can move around easily,” he explained, showing his affection.

Born on January 4, 1991, Bae Nara is 35 years old and debuted in the 2013 musical PROMIS. He has appeared in a variety of dramas including D.P. Season 2, Evilive, Weak Hero Class 2, Tastefully Yours, and Would You Marry Me, steadily gaining recognition from the public.
