Model, actress, and social media star Coco, hailed as one of Taiwan’s most stunning beauty icons, has tragically passed away at the age of 29. Her younger brother confirmed the heartbreaking news on January 22, revealing that Coco took her final breath at 6:53 AM, peacefully and without pain. He added that details regarding her funeral would be announced at a later time.

The news sent shockwaves through the Taiwanese entertainment industry, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing deep sorrow over the sudden loss. Coco had been courageously fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as vascular sarcoma.

Her health struggles began in 2021 when she suddenly experienced vision problems. Doctors diagnosed her with fibrous dysplasia, and scans revealed a 10-centimeter tumor in her brain. Fortunately, it hadn’t impacted her optic nerves, and after undergoing brain surgery, her condition stabilized.

However, in 2025, Coco suffered from chest tightness and difficulty breathing, nearly falling into a state of shock and unconsciousness. Emergency doctors discovered a malignant tumor in her chest that was pressing against her heart and eroding her right atrium. She was diagnosed with vascular sarcoma, a rare and often fatal cancer. Despite undergoing emergency surgery and enduring 28 rounds of chemotherapy, her condition continued to worsen, ultimately leading to her death.

Throughout her illness, Coco remained open about her journey. She once shared that she never considered herself lucky due to the many hardships she faced in life. However, after surviving two major surgeries and escaping death four times, she came to believe she had a different kind of luck the wisdom to see life clearly, to let go of attachments, and to learn to love herself and cherish the present moment.

To her, illness and adversity were gifts from above trials meant to build her strength and resilience. Even in her final days, she told fans she believed she would defeat the disease. Sadly, despite her unyielding spirit, she could not overcome it in the end, leaving many in mourning.

Born in 1997, Coco rose to fame as a model, actress, and one of Taiwan’s top influencers (KOLs). She was often referred to as a “goddess of beauty” in the modeling world, celebrated for her bold, sultry looks and charismatic presence.
