With BTS scheduled to reunite as a complete group on March 20, speculation is mounting that the group’s long-awaited “ARIRANG” comeback stage could be held in the heart of Seoul. On January 19, BigHit Music responded to the reports, stating to Xports News, “The event is currently under discussion. Once the venue and schedule are finalized, we will make an official announcement.”
Earlier that day, Yonhap News TV reported that BTS was planning their first comeback stage as a full group at Gwanghwamun Plaza.

According to the report, HYBE submitted a permit request for a performance titled “K-Heritage and K-POP Convergence Concert,” with potential venues listed as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Plaza, the Gwanghwamun Woldae Area, and Sungnyemun Gate.
The event is reportedly being designed as a free concert, with the dates being considered including the comeback day itself—March 20—as well as the following weekend, March 21 and 22. Attendance would be limited to between 15,000 to 20,000 people, selected through a prior application process.
BTS will make their official return as a full group with the release of their 5th full-length album, “ARIRANG,” on March 20. It marks their first group comeback in 3 years and 9 months. Following the album drop, BTS will embark on a massive world tour, beginning in Goyang on April 9.
