Cho Jun-young is a South Korean actor under SM Entertainment. He is known for his roles in television series and films spanning from supporting parts to leading roles in youth and romance-drama projects.
Early Life and Education
Cho Jun-young was born on December 26, 2002, in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He studied at the School of Performing Arts Seoul, majoring in theater and film, and later enrolled in Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of Acting for Theatre, Film and TV, where he took a leave of absence to focus on his acting career.
Career
Cho Jun-young made his acting debut in 2020 with a supporting role as Park Young-jae in the drama Live On. He continued to build his portfolio with additional supporting roles in Idol: The Coup (2021) and Dear.M (2022).
He gained increased attention in 2023 with his breakout performance in All That We Loved, where he played a leading role, drawing notice for his screen presence and acting growth. Since then, Cho has taken on more leading parts in projects including the O’PENing drama Million Dollar Baby (2024) and high-profile youth series such as Crushology 101 (2025). In addition, he has appeared in upcoming series such as Spring Fever (2026) and Spirit Fingers (2025).
In film, Cho appeared in A Year-End Medley (2021), marking his first major movie role.
