Former K-pop idol Yoo Dongho has officially gone public with his relationship, drawing attention from fans both in Korea and overseas.
Recently, an account named Dong Ho Zi Long uploaded a photo strip featuring the couple, including several intimate shots of them kissing, accompanied by the caption “coming soon.” The account’s bio describes them as a “Korean–Taiwan international gay couple” and links directly to a shared YouTube channel.
The YouTube channel features various videos of the couple together, some of which were later reposted on Instagram. One video in particular shows Zilong traveling by plane to confess his feelings to Dongho, marking what fans described as a clear “hard launch” of their relationship.
Prior to this, neither Dongho nor Zilong had shared any visible hints about their relationship on their personal Instagram accounts, making the couples account their first public announcement.
Zilong, who was born in 2001, is reportedly a baker and is either the owner of or closely affiliated with a bakery and cookie shop. Dongho, meanwhile, is currently 40 years old, creating a 16-year age gap between the two.
Yoo Dongho debuted in 2010 as a member of Apeace , a large-scale K-pop group that was especially active in Japan. He remained with the group until 2014, the same year multiple members graduated. Apeace later officially disbanded in 2021.
Earlier this year, Dongho returned to the stage in Japan, reuniting with former members for performances marking his first major public activity since the group’s disbandment.
The unexpected relationship reveal has sparked widespread discussion online, with many fans expressing support for Dongho’s openness and courage.
