The recent Netflix show Culinary Class Wars 2 has drawn attention not only for its intense cooking battles but also for a surprising celebrity connection.
Among the lineup of top chefs, the revered temple food master Seonjae Monk demonstrated his skillful cooking, earning praise from judges for his precise techniques. As viewers noticed his unique presence, interest surged when it was revealed that his nephew is none other than Lee Chang-sub of BTOB.
Seonjae Monk had previously mentioned this relationship in a 2017 MBC broadcast, stating: “ My nephew is a singer, but I don’t really know many singers. My nephew is Lee Chang-sub of BTOB.”
Fans also pointed out the noticeable resemblance between the two.
Meanwhile, Lee Chang-sub is currently touring with his Encore Concert, having met fans in Incheon, Daejeon, and Gwangju, with upcoming shows in Daegu, Busan, and Suwon.
The show “Culinary Class Wars 2” features intense culinary battles between underdog “black chef” masters aiming to overturn the hierarchy with taste, and top celebrity “white chefs” defending their status. As of now, three episodes have been released.
