Actor Jo In-sung’s witty refusal to appear on comedian Park Na-rae’s show “Na-rae Bar” has resurfaced online amid ongoing discussions about Park’s current management controversies.

According to online communities, the incident dates back to 2017 during MBC Every1’s “Video Star.” Park Na-rae, a guest at the time, called Jo In-sung to invite him to her bar, “Na-rae Bar,” in a polite manner. Their phone call was facilitated by Park Kyung-lim, who had worked with Jo In-sung on the MBC sitcom “New Nonstop”, where the two actors had built a close friendship.

Jo In-sung humorously replied, “You’re free to go in, but I heard you’re not free when you come out. If you invite me, I’ll only come with my parents,” effectively declining the invitation while keeping the tone lighthearted.

The attention comes as Park Na-rae currently faces controversies involving her former managers, who filed claims at the Seoul Western District Court citing workplace harassment, unpaid fees, forced errands, and other mistreatment. Park Na-rae has paused all broadcasting activities and stated on her YouTube channel that legal procedures are underway to clarify the facts.

Jo In-sung’s past refusal is now being revisited online, highlighting his sense of humor while unintentionally tying into the ongoing public discourse surrounding Park Na-rae.
