On December 15, SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3 (written by Oh Sang Ho, directed by Kang Bo Seung) released a special poster featuring Jang Na Ra, who joins the acclaimed series’ lineup of standout villains, following Kasamatsu Sho, Yoon Shi Yoon, and Eum Moon Suk.
In previous episodes, Eum Moon Suk stunned audiences as the third villain, playing Cheon Gwang Jin—a heartless criminal involved in illegal gambling, match-fixing, and murder. Thanks to such gripping portrayals, Episode 8 achieved peak ratings of 15.6%, ranking first in its time slot and among all mini-series aired that week. It also topped the 2049 demographic (ages 20–49) with a high of 5.19%, dominating all channels and programs in December.

Now, Jang Na Ra takes the stage as the fourth villain, playing Kang Joo Ri—a former girl group idol turned entertainment agency CEO. Behind her glamorous success lies a twisted psyche and unchecked greed, marking Jang Na Ra’s very first villain role in her entire filmography. Her silhouette was previously teased in a promotional poster, generating buzz among fans, and anticipation for her full reveal has reached new heights.
In the newly released poster, Jang Na Ra exuded elegance and sophistication—but what truly grips viewers is the ominous aura she radiates. Her gaze, directed off-camera, is as cold as frost, while her faint smirk suggests cunning and menace. She resembles a witch—eerie, powerful, and enigmatic. This dramatic shift from her usual wholesome image to a cold-hearted villain piques curiosity about the explosive chemistry she’ll share with Kim Do Gi (played by Lee Je Hoon), the show’s vigilante taxi driver.
The production team teased, “Episodes 9 and 10 will spotlight the dark exploitation, power abuse, and corruption hidden behind K-POP’s glamorous facade.” They continued, “Jang Na Ra, a beloved actress known for her diverse roles, adds incredible strength to the show. Her transformation from a kind image to a powerful villainess will be a standout moment. Please look forward to this unique performance.”

With such anticipation building, Jang Na Ra’s villainous debut in Taxi Driver 3 promises a thrilling twist in the ongoing narrative. Fans are eager to see how she reshapes her legacy in K-drama history.
