Singer and actress Kelly Osbourne has taken a firm stand against online trolls criticizing her appearance following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. On December 11 (local time), People reported that Osbourne, 41, shared a video on social media addressing the harsh comments she’s received since her father’s passing in July.

Opening her message with gratitude, Kelly expressed appreciation for the “lovely comments from people who genuinely helped me get through this time after losing my dad.” However, she didn’t hold back when confronting the negative side of online reactions.

“There were also some disgusting, horrible, mean, and rude remarks,” she said, calling out those who judged her looks during a time of deep grief. “What do you expect of me? How do you think I should look right now? I should be applauded for even getting out of bed and facing my life, let alone trying to move forward,” she continued. “You say I look sick well, I am sick. My life has been turned upside down. I don’t understand how anyone could expect me to look like everything’s fine.”

Kelly shared that she’s using her pain to connect with others who are grieving, stressing that spiteful comments serve no purpose. “What you’re doing is bullying,” she said bluntly.

She also took aim at a common pattern of criticism: “One of the weirdest things is that people are comparing photos of me at 41 to when I was 18. People’s faces change as they age. It’s disappointing that most of the hateful comments come from adult women. It’s disgusting and exhausting.”

Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, previously revealed that Kelly had been struggling to eat properly since Ozzy Osbourne’s death, contributing to noticeable weight loss.

The legendary “Prince of Darkness,” Ozzy Osbourne, passed away on July 22 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Kelly, who debuted in 1998 as both a singer and actress, has remained active in the entertainment industry and continues to use her platform to advocate for empathy and mental health awareness.
