BLACKPINK’s Rosé and global pop star Bruno Mars have hinted that they may release another collaboration track, following the massive success of their hit song “APT.” The revelation came during a new Billboard feature published on March 11 (local time), titled “Rosé and Bruno Mars Reveal the Story Behind One of 2025’s Biggest Hits, ‘APT.’”

During the interview, Mars was asked whether any additional songs were created that did not make the album’s final tracklist. He confirmed that such a song exists. “Oh, yeah, there is. And we love that song that we worked on, I won’t say the title… We’re just trying to figure out when, or how.”

Rosé admitted she initially felt nervous when the track was first crafted. “When we made this song, I was honestly a little scared,” she revealed. “But I realized again how meaningful music can be to people. I’m still taking it all in, and I’m still learning from it every day.”

The two artists first met at a studio in Los Angeles last year. Rosé recalled the encounter: “I felt like it might be my last chance, so I tried to learn as much as I could.”

Mars added that Rosé “was constantly moving around, trying to absorb information.”

Rosé credited Mars with greatly shaping her musical direction throughout the entire album. “Aside from ‘APT.,’ Bruno inspired so much across the album. He helped me with many small issues I struggled to solve on my own,” she said.

Mars also expanded their collaboration by joining as a co-composer on Rosé’s solo album track “Number One Girl.”

The song “APT.” has earned a total of three nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year, solidifying its status as a global hit.

Mars expressed his thoughts on the recognition: “Awards are unpredictable, but honestly, I already feel it’s successful enough. What matters more than the results is that the music we made together is loved. Whether we win or not that’s already a victory.”

With both artists confirming that an additional collaborative track exists, fans are eagerly waiting to see when and in what form the unreleased song will eventually be unveiled. As Rosé and Bruno Mars continue to share mutual artistic influence, expectations for their next project remain exceptionally high.
